Spent some time with the Miller’s and Wong family. The connection is that the moms are sisters and both have new(ish) babies!

In case you didn’t know, I also do some web development work these days as it works with my ole career in technology. It fell into my lap few years ago after I chose WordPress and Headway to use on my site redesign. It’s been ALOT of fun working with other creative professionals in creating some great websites.
Matter of fact I’ve gotten fairly good at it so I started teaching a class out the South Bay Adult School called “WP101″. It’s a 5 week session currently on Wed nights. We are in the 3rd week this semester but another one will start soon.
Not to stop the learning and sharing, I created the local Meetup for WordPress last year and finally scheduled our first meeting – for Jan 29. 2013 in Manhattan Beach. So If you are interested in WordPress and live nearby – by all means – check it out. You can see more of that information HERE

Wow.. 2013 is FLYING by… 23rd already! Wow! So a few shots end of 2012, that never saw light of day here.. they may show up soon. I did a shoot last week with Sarah, whom I’ve worked with before as we both were hired by Sony to host a short live segment. I was testing out some new lights and it was AWESOME working with Sarah again.

Holiday Gifts 2012 & Silver Lining in Theaters?

I’ve gotten some emails/txts and even phone calls asking my opinion on good gifts for photographers..i.e. what to give the photographer family member and/or friend in your life for the holidays.
Well… it all comes down to budget… but a great place to start is over at Photojojo. They have some really cool lil things and affordable. I actually received the Canon Lens Mug from my kids this year!
